Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test: TNTET Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria
TNTET Exam Paper 1 Qualification (Classes I-V)
- Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education Or Higher Secondary (or) equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
TNTET Exam Paper 2 Qualification (Classes VI-VIII)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education Or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. Or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or B.Ed, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations. Or Appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or Higher Secondary or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/ B.Sc. Ed (or) B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. Or Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed (Special Education).
